I have just returned from London after visiting IJL 2008 at Earl's Court in London. This is an essential visit for any one involved in fashion and the jewellery trade - all the new trends and style forecasts for the following seasons are displayed and all the major players in the UK and international jewellery industry are in attendance. The show is an amazing display of all types of jewellery from diamond and platinum through to gold, silver and costume jewellery - so I was very pleased to be attending.

It was an excellent opportunity to meet some of the silver jewellery suppliers for Kooqi (my other main focus in life) - who are based in Los Angeles, California as they were visiting the UK for the event - including the owner of the business - and it was great to chat with him about their products and designs. It was exciting to see that they have some new designs in the bold and brightly coloured Murano, Designo and Millefiori jewellery which are some of my favourite lines that we sell through Kooqi.

New Silver Jewellery Trends For The Coming Season

Amongst many of the new lines that really stood out from the crowd were the Italian and Danish beading sets which are so pretty and which are used to create unique pieces of jewellery, as pictured below.

My next task is to research this market for the suppliers with the most unique pieces and hopefully Kooqi will be able to offer some unique designer beaded bracelets and necklaces in the near future.
